Cobblestone Facebook Page

By Tim Hauserman
Sure, The Cobblestone is a gathering of buildings with a European theme and a central clocktower in the center of Tahoe City. But it is also a community of businesses who have a shared interest in being a fun place for people to shop, eat, drink or enhance their life through activities like dance or yoga. One of the ways the businesses and people interested in those goals can further that effort is by joining The Cobblestone Center Facebook page.
I’ve just taken on the task of administering the Cobblestone Facebook page, and I have two goals for doing so:

  1. Get Cobblestone business events and information out there so that businesses can promote what is happening, and people can find out about fun events or new businesses.  For example, I just posted a nice article that was in the Sierra Sun about The Trunk Show and owner Jaclyn Woznicki.
  2. Increase the number of Facebook friends so that it can be an effective tool to promote Cobblestone businesses. You can help this effort by joining and by getting your friends to join.

Business owners, please email me your event and I will do my best to get it out there on Facebook. Ideas for things to post include: New businesses joining The Cobblestone family, special sales or events such as Octoberfest, and press about Cobblestone businesses.
I will also be continuing to write regular Cobblestone related blogs such as this one, which I will link to the Facebook page. If you also have ideas for blog topics, please let me know. I’m planning on one or two posts a month.
Enjoy the spring!
